The Miniroll Bluetooth speaker is a return to form for Ultimate Ears

Ultimate Ears just launched the Miniroll, a new compact Bluetooth speaker that’s more portable than the company’s Boom-branded lineup. Priced at $79.99, the Miniroll is now the smallest and most affordable Bluetooth speaker offered by Ultimate Ears, and revives the disc design used by the company’s discontinued Roll and Roll 2 products.

As its name suggests, that familiar form factor has been shrunk to a diameter of around 4 inches (105mm), and a thickness of 1.9 inches (48mm) — making it easier to fit into pockets or smaller bags. The Miniroll weighs 9.8 ounces (279g) and still features a built-in strap that can be used to attach it to things like bags and belt loops. Snap suspends two anonymous messaging apps after cyberbullying lawsuit

The lawsuit was filed on Monday by Kristin Bride, the mother of a teenager who died by suicide in June after being bullied on the two apps. “In light of the serious allegations raised by the lawsuit, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of the Snapchat community, we are suspending both Yolo and LMK’s Snap Kit integrations while we investigate these claims,” a spokesperson for Snap said in a statement.
