The Framework Desktop and Linux have shown me the path to PC gaming in the living room

It’s small, it’s relatively quiet, it has a handy sleep mode with remote wake-up, and the front tiles are even rotatable. The Framework Desktop is a great fit for a living room.

I've long dreamed of doing all my gaming on PC - a single platform that's easily upgradeable and lets me play my overstuffed Steam library wherever and however I like. The Steam Deck is a fantastic handheld, but for my living room, I want something more powerful that works as well on my TV as it does at a desk. Believe me, I've tried. Gaming laptops are noisy and awkward, desktops are too chunky, and Windows is annoying to navigate without a keyboard and mouse. I had hoped that Valve's Steam Machine experiment was my ticket, but it crashed and burned long ago. Nothing's ever been as easy as a PlayStation 5.

TP-Link unveils its first family of Wi-Fi 6 routers

The next generation of Wi-Fi is starting to arrive, and today TP-Link is unveiling its first family of next-gen products. There are six devices in total, ranging from high-end routers to a range extender, all of which use the new Wi-Fi 6 standard to deliver better performance and faster speeds. At the top of the line is the Deco X10, a tri-band mesh router that’ll work with the rest of TP-Link’s Deco series to spread Wi-Fi signal throughout a home. Mophie’s battery pack case for the new iPhones lets you use wired headphones

Mophie’s newest iPhone battery case, the Juice Pack Access, represents a first for the company: an exposed Lightning port. Mophie’s cases typically plug into each iPhone’s Lightning port, and that’s how it charges the phone. This new case leaves that port exposed, so users can plug their Lightning headphones in and listen to music, even while using the case. The case will support the iPhone X, XS, XS Max, and XR. Instead of the Micro USB port that’s included with the Juice Pack Air for the iPhone X, the Access case can charge wirelessly on any Qi-enabled charging pad.
